Rail firm First Scotrail said it was business as usual , despite a 24-hour strike by workers.
Members of the RMT union are fighting plans for drivers, instead of waking up in the operation of doors on a new rail link between Airdrie and Bathgate.
The Union believes that the status quo of the second day on the subject, described as safety critical .
Scotrail has said it will take at least nine of the 10 trains, such as strikes earlier.
Special program will provide up to 100% of services on many lines – such as the Edinburgh-Glasgow Queen Street and all the services of Strathclyde, but Motherwell-Cumbernauld.
Apart from the management services from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Aberdeen and Inverness as usual.
More than 550 railway workers participated in the first strike of three 24 hours on February 20.
RMT members are also in a state on March 13, the day of England v Scotland RBS 6 Nations rugby match at Murrayfield.
300m, the rail link from Glasgow to Edinburgh via Airdrie to Bathgate to open in December.
Last week the trade union leaders expressed anger, run the authority Transport Scotland has already secured the plans for the First Scotrail service with driver and controller, but does not scale.
RMT general secretary Bob Crow, said: It was a real opportunity to resolve this issue in interviews this week, but the possibility is sabotaged by the carefully filtered revelations were a political agreement on axing the guards with Transport Scotland that, in total confusion about who to call the shots and should be negotiated.
The central issue in this dispute is about people and security personnel and the ends of the 2001 agreements that protect the critical role of Security Officer in Scotrail trains, and that is what we are striking. Steve Montgomery, CEO of Scotrail, said: It’s business as usual railway in Scotland.
The plans are so that it runs at least nine of the 10 trains – such as during the strike last Saturday. He added: However, he should return, because some services have led to a revised offer of RMT, and very possible inconvenience to our customers.
Hard choices had to be taken to ensure that as many people as possible, unaffected by the day. A number of services in rural areas should be replaced by buses.
